So tomorrow, is the beginning of the end, of my last year in band. Band has been a pretty super duper part of my life, and I think if I had to do it over again, i'd pick band over anything else. Thanks to band I made my first real best friend from River Valley, which would be Trey. I don't know if we're still the closest of friends, but we we're still pretty good buds. Just the extra time we had in middle school, when neither of us had something to work on, when we'd talk, that's all it takes to make a friend. Thanks to band, I had my first big crush. 3 years of it to be exact. Band has also let me make so many other friends that I would never have had. Without band, I just wouldn't have talked to so many people. Thanks to band, I touched my first, and hopefully not last, female breast. That sounds perverted, but is a major accomplishment for me, because I am a pervert. I've also become more musically talented through band, and probably wouldn't have even joined NRB had it not been for band. But most importantly, it's given me more time to spend with my friends, time that matters. Things like sitting in pooring rain while carrying drums with them, being out in 95 degree heat with them, going to Nawlin's with them, and going to Florida with them, doing "do agains" with them, marching 3 miles with them, driving through the school grass with them in the back of my Jeep, playing dodgeball with them, playing Halo2 with them, skipping it sometimes to go visit Mr. Danals with them, skipping it to go roam the halls sometimes with them, making fun of Mr. Walker with them, goofing off during sectionals with them, and lastly, putting on one hell of a half time show with them. To all of my band friends, you're some of the best.

Aww, thanks R. Yes, I still believe we to be rather close, not quite bosom buddies, but that close is one step away from being like Michael and dogs, if you know what I mean.
